Community Lending w/ Salesforce Lightning

On The Road Lending provides vehicle selection assistance and long-term financial mentoring to address a little understood, but substantial problem – providing a way for low-income individuals to overcome transportation barriers so they can get to work, lead a healthier life, and avoid predatory lending.

Purpose

On The Road Lending was previously using Salesforce for loan origination. The legacy system was cumbersome and did not provide automation or analysis that would support growth. Craftsman was retained to deploy a new, Salesforce-based, loan management system that would significantly increase automation, reduce “friction” that resulted in applicant drop-off, and improve reports and analytics. On The Road Lending was looking for a long-term partner who would provide initial improvements, and continue to grow their system on an on-going basis.

Project Details

On The Road Lending was highly motivated to deploy the new system but wanted to be certain it was done well. A three week planning engagement captured design to architect a solution. A three month project delivered the core community lending functionality. Online application forms were implemented in English and Spanish to expand the organization’s outreach.

Ongoing Partnership

Post-project, Craftsman was retained for Salesforce Administration with a focus on providing support, ensuring smooth operations and continuously enhancing the system. With the aid of its loan management system, On The Road Lending is looking to expand their services into new states. They are an ambitious organization that continuously looks to improve the loan application process for their applicants and staff. As a result, the system was closely tailored to meet their needs and is complimented by the ongoing support of tech professionals.

Tools + Technology

Craftsman deployed a Salesforce Lightning App as the core solution. Nintex DocGen, DocuSign and Box were integrated to provide document creation, digital signatures/execution, and document storage. Form Assembly is leveraged for application submission and reference collection.
