Food insecurity organizations work around the clock to ensure that everyone in need has safe, reliable access to healthy and nutritious food. Our partners are providers, educators, advocates, and leaders. They cycle hundreds of thousands of pounds of food each week through their warehouses, provide hot, diet-specific meals to individuals living with critical illnesses, and make food accessible through local partnerships and volunteers.
Technology Helps Respond to the Moment
Since the start of the pandemic, organizations saw need increase and critical resources, including volunteers and supply, become even more scarce. More than ever, they needed their tools to be simple, accurate, and efficient. Craftsman works with our food insecurity partners to create an integrated system for development, volunteer management, partner support, and order tracking.
We build collaborative spaces for distribution partners to communicate, share resources, and self-manage their requests; for volunteers to find and register for shifts when availability changes last minute, and for internal teams to respond to requests, track impact, and report on mission-critical metrics.
