Congregation Rodeph Shalom’s vision is to create a Jewish community of profound connections through transformative study, prayer and urban engagement. Purpose

Congregation Rodeph Shalom adopted Salesforce to support operations for membership, philanthropy, pastoral care, event management, communications and school registration. The initial project fell short of its original goals and adoption of the system suffered. Confidence in automation and the system declined and staff increasingly relied on manual processes.

Rodeph Shalom recognized that it did not have the technical resources and in-house capacity to fully support the staff, maintain operations of the system, improve its usage, and effectively respond to the needs of the community.

Project Details

Craftsman was initially engaged to assess the current state – to determine why the system was not realizing its aspirations and to identify unmet needs. Following the assessment, Craftsman would resolve a set of critical challenges and help build capacity at the organization to better use the system.

Ongoing Partnership

Craftsman is presently retained as an ongoing resource – to serve as Rodeph Shalom’s System Administrator. Through this ongoing relationship, Craftsman’s team is able to respond to support needs, ensure steady operations, and position Rodeph Shalom to continuously grow the system and its value to the community.

Tools + Technology

Rodeph Shalom was using a custom solution built by a prior partner. Form Assembly, EventBrite and Paypal send data to the system. Constant Contact is used to send communications. And, data ultimately must reconcile with Microsoft Dynamics (e.g. Great Plains).
