UESF provides assistance for families facing a housing or utility crisis by addressing their immediate needs and removing barriers to long-term stability. As part of its housing stabilization strategy, UESF is committed to a holistic, preventive, and cost-efficient approach to assisting vulnerable families. UESF is a one-stop shop that offers immediate resources and empowers families to achieve long-term financial stability.

Purpose

UESF adopted Salesforce to manage its housing stabilization programs. With multiple community partners providing a high-volume of referrals for service, a system was needed to manage data coming from many directions. Over time, the inbound data became inconsistent and its organization within the system created a significant burden on the staff.

Due in part to changeover at the organization, UESF realized it did not have the working knowledge of the system to administer and maintain it efficiently. They needed a partner who could fill the need for institutional knowledge and technical skills.

Ongoing Partnership

Craftsman was engaged to provide advanced Salesforce Admin services. The first step was to fix the intake forms. Next, Craftsman would begin the process of data clean-up on the platform.

Craftsman’s Managed Services Team continues to ensure support and operation needs are met, with an eye towards expanding UESF’s use of the platform. Post-stabilization priorities include establishing a single version of truth for UESF’s data and enhancing user experience. This involves reducing manual lift and duplicate entry by improving integrations with external systems and introducing automation where possible.

Tools + Technology

UESF is using native Salesforce. Intake forms are built on Form Assembly and integrated with the platform. Other administrative tools, including Duplicate Checker and Demand Tools support the ongoing maintenance of the instance.
