Job Description: Project Coordinator

Virtual (US) or Boston, MA

Craftsman Technology Group is looking for a Project Coordinator (PC) to support all aspects of our projects and the practice overall. As a PC you will monitor a portfolio of projects, develop reports and analysis and backstop the Project Manager in all aspects of the engagement. A PC may be called on to help facilitate discussions, provide training or contribute to deliverables.

An ideal candidate is someone interested in moving into a Project Management role. We see the PC-role as a way to build our bench of Project Managers and will provide ample opportunity for career advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Generate Weekly Status Updates & Analysis for Project Portfolio
  • Develop project schedules
  • Assist in monitoring and controlling project activities
  • Participate in project kickoff and project management activities
  • Participate in development and review of project deliverables
  • Assist in development and execution of Change Management Plans
  • Support internal analysis of firm and project portfolio
  • Contribute to firm’s body of knowledge
  • Contribute, edit and otherwise improve blog content
  • Other duties in support of project or firm objectives

Required Qualifications

  • Familiarity with business processes of nonprofit sector
  • Knowledge of project management tools such as MS Project, Base Camp, Projector PSA or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience managing projects (nonprofit sector strongly preferred)
  • Four-year degree
  • CAPM Certification (required within 1 year of hire)
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator credential (required within 1 year of hire)
