Craftsman to Acquire 501Partners

On July 15, 2019 Craftsman Technology Group will acquire 501Partners’ nonprofit practice.

Craftsman Technology Group, LLC, is a Boston-based professional services firm. As a Registered Salesforce Partner, Craftsman helps nonprofits and other social sector organizations leverage the power of the Salesforce platform to best deliver on their missions. With the acquisition, Craftsman will expand its Community Development, Education and Nonprofit Practices.

“Our mission has always been to help nonprofit organizations grow and thrive,” said BJ Cortis, Founder and CEO of Craftsman Technology Group. “In 501Partners we saw a like-minded group of talented individuals that will help magnify our impact on the sector.”

501Partners, LLC, is a Boston-based technology services firm. For the past seven years, 501 has served hundreds of nonprofit organizations and trained thousands of nonprofit staff.

“Seven years ago, I established this firm to build capacity in the sector,” explained Allan Huntley, Founder and CEO of 501Partners. “In Craftsman, we have found a way for our good work to continue.”

Craftsman anticipates retaining 501Partners’ staff and will continue to serve 501Partners’ historic clients beginning July 15, 2019. Craftsman’s existing clients will benefit from a deepened bench of technology professionals, as well as expanded services including 501’s training programs. Human Centered Apps, LLC, a close ally of 501Partners, will remain an independent entity and will continue to support its clients with Allan Huntley as its CEO.
